Five more for $100,000+

On Tuesday, Dec. 10, Session II of Western Bloodstock’s 2019 NCHA Futurity 2-Year-Old Sale built on the momentum of Monday’s Session I. With an average of $39,640, an increase of 24% over 2018, Session II also matched Session I in seeing five horses sell for $100,000 or more.

Fancy Deville, consigned by Todd Nelson, was Tuesday’s high seller at $350,000. The Once In A Blu Boon filly, in training with Richard Jordan, sold to Billy Wolf, Whitesboro, Tex. Fancy Deville is out of Louella Deville, a daughter of $1.7 million producer Louella Again.

Other highlights from the sale include Hickoryish, consigned by Lone Oak Performance Horses and in training with Matt Tune, brought $300,000 from Rocking P Ranch, Fort Worth, Tex. The Hottish-sired colt is out of Dual Rey daughter Reyann Hickory LTE $324,141, an NCHA money-earning producer.

Stars Copper Cat, in training with Richard Jordan, sold to J Five Horse Ranch, Weatherford, Tex., for $300,000. The High Brow Cat daughter, a full sister to 2016 NCHA Futurity Non-Pro finalist Geronimos Catillac LTE $93,335, was consigned by Todd Nelson.

Tell Us A Lie, consigned by Phil and Mary Ann Rapp and in training with Rapp Ranch, sold to Kathleen Sullivan, Sioux Falls, S.D., for $150,000. The Meteles Cat red roan filly is out of Dual Rey daughter Reyly, whose dam is a three-quarter sister to Dont Look Twice LTE $843,096.

Ezlikesundaymorning, consigned by Diamond LK Cutting Horses and in training with Turner West, sold to Raymond Schumate, Kerrville, Tex., for $147,000. The red roan Metallic Cat daughter is a three-quarter sister to NCHA Non-Pro Horse of the Year Reyzin LTE $424,834, out of Miss Reycine LTE $134,894.
